Dr. Bordieri is one of the only licensed marriage and family therapists to specialize in the systemic treatment of bipolar disorder.

Dr. Bordieri has been a regular presenter at national and state conferences to educate and train marriage and family therapists to treat couples with a bipolar diagnosed partner from a systemic perspective.  She is also an adjunct professor and teaches systemic psychopathology and psychopathology in addition to teaching marriage and family therapy theories and techniques and counseling skills courses.  Dr. Bordieri regularly serves as a guest lecturer to educate students in treating bipolar disorder and other mental health disorders form a systemic perspective.
