Free Workshop for Couples with a Bipolar Diagnosed Partner

This 75-minute online workshop will take place on Friday, October 9th from 5:30pm to 6:45pm.  Participants will learn about some of the challenges of coping with bipolar disorder and some basic tips and strategies for collaborative symptom management between partners.  The workshop will also include a Q&A session to cater to the questions and concerns of participants. Couples and individual partners are welcome.

This online workshop will take place using a HIPAA compliant Zoom account.  Participants may choose to mute their video at any time or for the duration of the workshop. 


Bipolar Disorder Support Group
for Non-Diagnosed Partners

This bi-weekly support group will take place on Saturday afternoons from 2:30pm to 3:30pm EST (11:30am to 12:30pm PST).  The group will focus on helping non-diagnosed partners to understand bipolar disorder symptoms and management.  Sessions will be tailored to the needs of participants and will offer professional and peer support for balancing self care needs with the needs of your partner and your relationship. 

When: Bi-weekly on Saturdays from 2:30pm to 3:30pm EST
Cost: 
$35 per session

Preregistration and a brief phone screening is required to participate in this group. 
This group is open to NY, NJ, and CA state residents only.

Bipolar Couples Relationship Enhancement and Collaborative Symptom Management

This relationship enhancement program will provide in-depth information and support to help couples understand and collaborate in managing the symptoms of bipolar disorder.  The group will also support couples to strengthen their connection and improve communication.  Group sessions will include psychoeducation, discussions, video clips, structured exercises, and handouts. 

The program includes:

Personalized Needs Assessment
12 Hours of Group Sessions 

50-minutes private coaching with Dr. Bordieri
Workshop Materials, Exercises & Homework
Activities & Tip Sheets for After the Workshop Ends

Please Note:  Couples who are currently experiencing high conflict or with non-diagnosed partners who are highly critical of diagnosed partner's diagnosis or symptoms are likely to benefit from couple's therapy rather than group participation.
